Cara Gilbert

Cara graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2001 and undertook a Masters of Science in Hand Therapy graduating from the University of Derby in 2018. Specialising in the upper limb for over 20 years, Cara has a special interest in post traumatic and post surgical rehabilitation, joint replacements, and early intervention injury management. Cara has worked both nationally and internationally, in the public and private sectors. She is passionate about educating therapists and patients alike, believing that successful rehabilitation lies in the partnership between the clinician and the patient.

In her spare time Cara is a keen trail runner, traveller, French language speaker and mother of three active boys.
