Emily is a passionate physiotherapist who is experienced in working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She joined Capital Clinic Physiotherapy in early 2019 following completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. Emily has gained knowledge in assessing and treating acute and chronic conditions both within a hospital setting and in the community. She also has a particular passion for the treatment of post-operative paediatric conditions, gaining experience in this field during her time at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Emily has always enjoyed working with children and has a natural ability with communicating and gaining their trust.
Emily particularly enjoys the challenge of finding and addressing the cause of a problem, and works closely with both her patients and other health professionals to deliver a holistic and evidence-based treatment approach.
Whilst confident in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, Emily takes a special interest in treating back, neck and shoulder injuries. Additionally, she enjoys assessing and treating patients experiencing dizziness and vestibular dysfunction.
