Jack commenced his Physiotherapy career in private practice following graduation from Monash University, Melbourne in 2008. Over the years that followed, Jack divided his time between his clinical caseload and local Australian Rules football with a strong commitment to professional development.
Jack’s first break through into elite sport came in 2011 in his appointment as the Reserve’s team Physiotherapist of the Collingwood Football Club where he worked for 3 seasons whilst concurrently completing his Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy through Latrobe University in Melbourne. Following its completion in 2013 he decided to try his luck overseas and apply his trade in London, UK in 2014.
Further to learning the intricacies of a foreign health care system in a clinical lead position of a leading London Physiotherapy practice and numerous European travel expeditions, Jack was able to further his elite sport experience, securing a job as an Academy Physiotherapist for Tottenham Hotspur in 2016. The highlight of his time at the club was going on tour with the U9’s to a European club competition in Brussels, Belgium.
Jack relocated back to Melbourne in 2017 following three life-changing years abroad to complete his Sports Masters post-graduate studies again through Latrobe University. He spent much of 2017 acquiring advanced skills in physiotherapy practice with placements in Australia and Qatar where he developed a special interest in lower limb tendon rehabilitation. He has been involved in 2 research papers in this field both due for publication in 2019.
Jack completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in 2019 and is an Australian Physiotherapy Association titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
Jack has only recently moved to Canberra but has already been blown away by the city’s charm, culture and strong community spirit.
