After living overseas and completing the International Baccalaureate, Kate returned to Canberra to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology and a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra.

Kate joined the Capital Clinic Physiotherapy team in 2012 and has a strong commitment to professional development, having completed her Level 1 & 2 Sports accreditation, dry needling qualification, Pilates qualification, and further studies in hip and pelvis pain, shoulder pain, and women’s health.  Kate is particularly passionate about Women’s Health and she is currently completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physio through the University of Melbourne.  Kate has a special interest specifically in pre-natal musculoskeletal pain and postnatal recovery of the pelvic floor.

Additionally, Kate was the Physiotherapist for the Ainslie Football Club for three years and while able to treat all musculoskeletal conditions, Kate continues to have a special interest in the management of sporting injuries.
