Natalie is a qualified Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. She studied a Masters of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy – Sports at the University of South Australia in 2017. She has a strong passion for all things sports and rehabilitation. Natalie has worked with athletes from many different sporting codes, up to the National level. This includes AFL, running, triathlon, touch football, soccer, rowing, cycling and more. She has 8 years’ experience working in private practice.
Natalie is a qualified Pilates instructor having undertaken the full APP1 accreditation training for matwork and reformer Pilates. She has also completed her certificate in myofascial techniques and dry needling, and prides herself in her use of manual therapy for pain relief.
Natalie is a qualified CCMI Concussion practitioner; she can assist in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic concussion injuries.
Natalie completed her undergraduate degree at La Trobe University in Melbourne, acquiring both a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. She then moved to Sydney to work in private practice and further develop her skills. Here she became involved with Nitro Circus – an action sports stunt show. With this came the opportunity to travel overseas and work as the physiotherapist for some amazing athletes.
Natalie has been in Canberra for the last 6 years and has kept up her love of sport; becoming involved in triathlon, trail running and mountain biking. She also worked as the head physiotherapist at Ainslie AFL club.
Natalie is an avid Touch Football player and has competed at a National level for 17 years. She also plays AFL and enjoys training for running events and Triathlons. With this sporting participation she has gained experience in a variety of training programs, injury prevention and management.
