Sam graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Science in 2016, going on to complete a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University.
Sam is a keen sportsman who has participated at the social, local and state level in a range of sports including rugby league, touch football, oz tag, tennis, golf and basketball. This history with sports led Sam to a love of helping those who had suffered injuries to return to work or return to playing sport at their previous level. Over the course of his study, Sam worked as an intern Physiotherapist/Sports trainer with the Gladesville Hornsby Soccer club, St Patricks Rugby Union club and The Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg team.
Throughout his studies, Sam maintained his love of sports however aimed to broaden his knowledge across a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions. Over the course of his study Sam completed a wide range of clinical placements ranging from a public hospital setting to a musculoskeletal private practice. Over this time he developed a passion for treating acute and chronic conditions of the lower back, shoulder and knee. Sam believes strongly in working in tandem with his patients to set a plan to work together to achieve specific goals. Sam is an easy-going, approachable and passionate physiotherapist who endeavours to provide his patients with the most current evidence-based treatment options during their care.
Sam enjoys participating in and promoting all types of physical activity to encourage and facilitate good health habits.
