Special Interests: Spinal pain, TMJ (Jaw), headache and migraine and hips

Stuart graduated with Distinction and First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra.  During his studies, Stuart received multiple commendations for his excellent academic performance, including the Prize for Research Excellence and the Heart Foundation ACT Prize.  His research project investigated new treatment strategies into lateral (outside) hip pain, providing him with in depth knowledge in this field.  He has gained clinical placement experience in both musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy private practices, which also included the in depth use of Telehealth.

Stuart enjoys treating a wide variety of general musculoskeletal conditions but is particularly interested in spinal pain.  He is passionate about providing evidence based treatment strategies including manual therapy and exercise prescription.  He strives to work collaboratively with clients from all walks of life to help them achieve their goals. Stuart is also passionate in the treatment of headache and migraine.  To further his interest and skills in headache and migraine management, he has completed a further professional development course from the Watson Headache® Institute.

Stuart is a keen snow sports enthusiast, with over 20 years skiing experience.  During his spare time, he can be found carving up the slopes in the Snowy Mountains.  In recent years, he has developed a passion for rock climbing, and enjoys spending time in local climbing gyms.
