Ann-Maree McCusker

Ann-Maree joined the team at Capital Clinic Physiotherapy in 2011 with extensive musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience in both the private and public sectors.

Ann-Maree graduated from the University of Sydney in 1984 and worked for over 12 years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as the Senior Physiotherapist of Musculoskeletal Outpatients. This involved her managing her own caseload and providing clinical education to other staff and students. During this time Ann-Maree also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Sector Management (Health) and her Masters of Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1998. Ann-Maree has worked in the private sector including several years in occupational rehabilitation. Ann-Maree has gained her Level 3 Specialist qualification in the management of headache and migraine from the Watson Headache® Institute.

Ann-Maree strives to facilitate a return to pre-injury function by using excellent clinical reasoning and by drawing on a variety of treatment techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, education and therapeutic exercise. While able to treat all musculoskeletal conditions, Ann-Maree has a special interest in Headache, Migraines, TMJ (jaw), spinal pain and work-related injuries.
