Kara graduated from the University of Canberra with a Masters of Physiotherapy and a Graduate Certificate in Human Movement Science following the completion of a Bachelor of Medical Science from the Australian National University.
Kara is passionate about helping people with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has a particular interest in the treatment of low back pain, persistent pain and hand injuries. She has completed further education in pain neuroscience as well as several courses focusing on management of low back pain. Kara takes a holistic and functional approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and works closely with her clients to achieve their goals using the best evidence-based guidelines.
Kara also has an interest and further experience with conditions involving the neck, including headaches, as she provides assistance with one of our off-site clinics for the treatment of whiplash associated disorder and chronic shoulder and knee conditions.
Kara enjoys practicing yoga, cycling and strength training. During her spare time, Kara can be found watching the footy and finding new places to eat in Canberra.
